Great! I am not alone. Thanks, Michael. Actually the reason I was trying to use aufs is because I had a problem with unionfs and squashfs both in Gutsy and Hardy-alpha3. I tried to use live helper from Gutsy to create an Ubuntu live. I did. However the problem is although the created ISO boots OK, I got kernel Oops about unionfs when udev detecting hardware. Attached is the dmesg output. I was wonder why gutsy/hardy-alpha3 desktop installation CD works fine, and mine did not.
