@Gabriel (and others): if you want stability, stay on the GA kernel (the
original kernel series for an Ubuntu LTS release). Then you will not
have major breakage of external kernel modules like you do using HWE
kernels.

I do agree that Ubuntu could do a better job of staying on top of the
dkms packages they control to make sure they work with HWE kernels.
