Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dosfstools

After a fresh dapper(server) install, the running dosfstools-
filesystemcheck chose to truncate all the files of my backup images
(living on a fat32 fs and having 4294967295 bytes length, because thats
the maximum on fat 32) to zero bytes length.... :-(

a chkdsk from Windows was able to restore the files to their original
length.

Steps to reproduce: Install dapper with default options and boot it,
with a vfat partition partition present and files with the above
mentioned file lenght on them.

** Affects: dosfstools (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
