I don't expect it changes anything but pcie_aspm=off is generally not helpful on AMD systems. This usually significantly increases power consumption.
I think given you have the same EDID in both cases the ACPI EDID is not the cause of your issue. Did you check for a VRAM setting in BIOS? If it's not present, can you try amdgpu.sg_display=0 on kernel command line?
