Public bug reported: Ubuntu(13.2-3ubuntu4) is currently carrying diff in d/rules regarding quotes on CPPFLAGS (solved in #1067707) and add --disable-werror to fix the ppc64el build. The debian version `13.2-4` fixed these issues. ``` gdb-avr (15.1-1) unstable; urgency=low
* New upstream release -- Steve Meliza <[email protected]> Sat, 10 Aug 2024 21:53:09 -0700 gdb-avr (13.2-4) unstable; urgency=high [ Michael Hudson-Doyle ] * debain/rules: Add quotes to CPPFLAGS (closes: #1067707) [ Steve Langasek ] * Configure with --disable-werror to fix the ppc64el build. -- Steve Meliza <[email protected]> Mon, 08 Apr 2024 19:33:34 -0700 ``` In this case, there is no need for the diff we carry. We should sync gdb-avr rather than merge with the latest Debian version (15.1-1) I have uploaded this package for testing here: https://launchpad.net/~0xnishit/+archive/ubuntu/devel-packages-ppa ** Affects: gdb-avr (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2119720 Title: Sync gdb-avr from debian for questing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdb-avr/+bug/2119720/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
