Tested on current Dapper build latest update, Tilda opens fine when using repository version.
More information would be useful. Especially whether you are building from source and if you are fully updated. Steps to replicate would be useful otherwise. Steps taken are, sudo apt-get tilda , running tilda in the shell (type 'tilda'), noting that application starts, runs and terminates in a fully stable manner.
