I think this openvswitch commit [0] which cites a glibc discussion [1] may also be relevant.
In questing the autopkgtest is now failing [2] with a strange permission denied error, a hunch is that the workaround of running the test under a short top level directory may be biting us. Will try to remove the workaround to see what happens. 0: https://github.com/openvswitch/ovs/commit/cb5aebd6dc77917d8e9a02a274367c4e6ba5f5ca 1: https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31137 2: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-questing/questing/amd64/o/openvswitch/20250803_125734_99cbc@/log.gz ** Bug watch added: Sourceware.org Bugzilla #31137 https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31137 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2019069 Title: Log messages from dpdk library overflow and is written as multiple lines causing issues for testsuite To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpdk/+bug/2019069/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
