Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Hi, after resuming from Suspend2RAM on a Dell Latitude D620 I get colorful garbage on the screen and the output freezes. I still can shutdown the notebook using the power button and login through ssh, but the screen is not to revive (not with ctrl-alt-backspace either). I think this behaviour is pretty new, I can't tell for sure but I think I see this happening since the upgrade to 2:2.2.0+git20080107-1ubuntu1. /var/log/Xorg.0.log (attached) shows the lines (WW) intel(0): PRB0_CTL (0x0001f001) indicates ring buffer enabled (WW) intel(0): PRB0_HEAD (0x00000000) and PRB0_TAIL (0x00000008) indicate ring buffer not flushed (WW) intel(0): Existing errors found in hardware state. at the end ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] Screen freeze on resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/182802 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
