I have fixed this issue by adding this lines in grub parameters:
"intel_iommu=igfx_off"
I edited file
/etc/default/grub
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet intel_iommu=igfx_off"
I am Using Debian 13, had same issue, now fixed it as I think, because
no freeze since 2 days.
Why I am commenting here ?
Because search for Debian Freeze, i915 freeze, Linux freeze Intel HD, Intel® HD
Graphics 3000 (SNB GT2), gives this page as first result, so people gonna come
here and search for solution. They will get my answer helpful.
Using Dell Inc. Inspiron 3520, Debian 13.
