Both XFCE and KDE are running through X11. I checked at the window
manager launcher.
Games on Steam have a Community Hub. It's a forum. You go in, you post
comments. That part, I've never had an issue with. Once in a while I
want to edit a comment or delete it. There's a button next to posts that
pops up a window. The window offers a couple choices: Edit, or Delete.
Seems reasonable. If I try to click either of them, the window
disappears as if I didn't choose either. I figured, for the longest
time, this was simply some odd quirk of Steam. I tried filing an issue
with Steam, but with no luck. It fell into the void.
I really would like to edit / delete my comments.
Out of curiosity, I recently installed KDE. I did the exact same
workflow: Go to the Community Hub, follow the thread, find my post, and
hit the button. This time was different! Both options work! I can delete
posts, I can edit posts!
Given what I've seen, I think this is a bug in XFCE.
