I've just reported bug 182974 about the issue which the new subversion issue. Please refer to this bug report for the subversion segfault. Unfortunately, I've not found a solution - so subversion with bdb still regresses in Gutsy - only in a different way now. If it was me, I would switch to fs-type "fsfs" anyway.
