I don't know about mic, but after changing the line "options snd-hda-intel
model=acer" to "options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba" in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base on my zepto znote 6625WD (it has an ALC268 sound
chip) the internal speakers *do* mute when plugging in a headset in at the
right jack. jack sensing does not work.
Additionally, when I change the volume with my "volume up button", the internal
speakers unmute. Using the "volume down button" does not unmute the internal
speakers.
This last part can (I think) be fixed by changing which slider the volume
buttons control (even the "volume down button" to keep some
conformity/symmetry :p) - Is there any way to do that without some hardcore
coding? Thank you in advance.
