Hi Gerald, Can you please fix the following in your SRU template:
- The [Impact] section needs to actually describe the problem. What is going wrong, what is the impact if any to affected users, what does it actually look like. - The [Test plan] needs step by step instructions to reproduce the problem, what a "broken" case looks like, and what a "fixed" case looks like. Additionally the pastebin link could expire at any time, please save the C program to a file and attach it to the launchpad bug so it will be available into the future. - The [Where problems can occur section] dismisses a lot of risk associated with toolchain upgrades. Just because it is a typo doesn't mean that fixing it is risk free from changing behaviour. If a regression were to occur, what would it look like? What types of programs / instructions would be affected? Would it cause a crash or would it result in incorrect calculations etc? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2101084 Title: GCC produces wrong code for arm64+sve in some cases To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gcc/+bug/2101084/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
