Tested on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, 25.10 and 26.04 development branch. I can confirm that the issue is still present and is a Wayland issue. On 24.04 with Xorg all works fine, when using Wayland session the theming is off and a cog is shown instead of the Quassel icon.
