Public bug reported: courier-unicode is FTBFS on ppc64el with symbols related failures [1]. We used to carry delta for this package to resolve this issue in the past, but it seems to have been dropped since questing (LP history is unclear as to why). The delta should be reintroduced to get it building again.
There is a version of courier-unicode in experimental (2.4.0-3) which claims to carry a number of symbols-related changes, but that is undesirable as it would start a transition ahead of Debian, and it is FTBFS on ppc64el for Ubuntu with the same error [2]. 1. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/courier-unicode/2.3.2-3/+build/31348033/+files/buildlog_ubuntu-resolute-ppc64el.courier-unicode_2.3.2-3_BUILDING.txt.gz 2. https://launchpadlibrarian.net/835500966/buildlog_ubuntu-resolute-ppc64el.courier-unicode_2.4.0-3_BUILDING.txt.gz ** Affects: courier-unicode (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Ural Tunaboyu (uralt) Status: In Progress ** Tags: update-excuse -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2134963 Title: courier-unicode: FTBFS on ppc64el To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/courier-unicode/+bug/2134963/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
