I have uploaded systemd with this patch from upstream:

This will allow us to build the stubble kernel images without an .osrel
section, and will then stop the systemd tools from thinking these are
"UKIs" in systemd's view. Separate from this test failure, this change
is something that upstream systemd requested a while back, so it's a
win-win.
I will propose the necessary stubble change too.
