currently (on 25.10) sg3-utils only ships:
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/55-scsi-sg3_id.rules
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/58-scsi-sg3_symlink.rules
55-scsi-sg3_id.rules references 00-scsi-sg3_config.rules (which also
forward-references the other two), and that file:
- also defaults .SCSI_ID_SERIAL_SRC to "T"
- defaults .SCSI_SYMLINK_SRC to ""
this should not change any behavior, but would provide the file
mentioned in the error message.
i'd be glad if you wanted to contribute this for the upcoming 26.04, but
i don't think this is worth backporting.
