Public bug reported:

    Problem Description:

I am using an iMac Mid 2015 (A1419, Model 15,1) with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
(Noble Numbat), kernel 6.14.0-37-generic.
The internal wireless card is identified as:
Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM4360 802.11ac Dual
Band Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03) [14e4:43a0]

The open-source brcmfmac driver fails to initialize this device
because it is not recognized in the supported chip list.

    Dmesg Output:

    brcmfmac: brcmf_chip_tcm_rambase: unknown chip: BCM4360/3
brcmfmac: brcmf_chip_get_raminfo: RAM base not provided with ARM CR4 core
    brcmfmac: brcmf_pcie_probe: failed 14e4:43a0

This device uses the "Rev 3" variant of the BCM4360 chipset. Please
add support for this chip ID (PCI ID 14e4:43a0) to the brcmfmac driver.

I have verified that the latest mainline kernel source
(git.kernel.org) also lacks support for this specific chip ID.
