With PCP 7.1.0 recently uploaded, we've completely rewritten debian/rules and one of the positives from this is that the debug packages are all being generated.
I've just tested this with $ gdb `which pminfo` and sure enough we get traceback with line numbers, and even source lines if cwd is at the base of the PCP source tree, so ./src/pminfo/pminfo.c (for example) can be found. Also in PCP 7.1.0 there are a lot of pmproxy and libpcp_web updates, so it is possible the problem will have gone away (or moved!) with the new version of PCP. If the problem happens again, perhaps someone could update this bug with a new trace callback. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060275 Title: pmproxy crash at startup in libpcp_web.so.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcp/+bug/2060275/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
