** Description changed: On Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS 64-bit with Budgie desktop (X11), after resuming from suspend, mouse and touchpad pointer move normally but mouse clicks do not work. It feels like a button is stuck in a pressed state (drag/select remains active). The issue happens every time after resume. Disabling and re-enabling the input device with xinput disable/enable immediately fixes the problem. + + Keyboard input still works when the issue occurs. + The system is responsive and applications can be controlled via keyboard, only mouse button events are affected. Expected result: Mouse and touchpad should work normally after resume. Actual result: Mouse pointer moves but clicks do not work until input devices are reset. Workaround: Running a script that resets touchpad/mouse devices after resume fixes the issue. Additional notes: The issue appeared recently (last 1–2 weeks). It does not happen on fresh boot, only after suspend/resume.
