Public bug reported:

Since the last kernel update, the analog audio output (headphone jack)
has stopped working. Other audio outputs like internal laptop speakers
and USB-C audio continue to work fine.

The Problem: When using the new kernel, there is no sound from the 3.5mm
jack. A background process repeatedly reports the following error:
Error: command ['pacmd', 'list'] failed with exit code 1: No PulseAudio
daemon running.

Evidence of Regression: This issue does not occur when booting with the
previous kernel version. All audio outputs, including the 3.5mm jack,
work perfectly there.
