Every time I transfer a large file from my USB driver, the transfer
starts extremely slow, then the kernel eventually freezes. This
happened to me with all 2.6.24-[24] kernels so far, but the old gutsy
2.6.22-14 kernel that I luckily still have lying around works
flawlessly.
