Public bug reported:

I'm on Ubuntu 25.10. My computer refuses to boot with kernel 6.17.0-14-generic
but boots with 6.17.0-8-generic. I would expect it boots with the last
available kernel.
I attach here the result of journalctl regarding an unsuccessful boot
process. In red appear the following lines: "x86/cpu: SGX disabled or
unsupported by BIOS.", "ACPI BIOS Error (bug): AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT, Field
[CAP1] at bit offset/length 64/32 exceeds size of target Buffer (64 bits)
(20250404/dsopcode-198)", "ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB._OSC due to
previous error (AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT) (20250404/psparse-529)",
"/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/90-alsa-restore.rules:18 GOTO="alsa_restore_std" has no
matching label, ignoring.", "/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/90-alsa-restore.rules:22
GOTO="alsa_restore_std" has no matching label, ignoring.", "open pipe file
/run/rpc_pipefs/nfs/blocklayout failed: No such file or directory" and
"Bluetooth: hci0: Reading supported features failed (-16)".
NFS is used to read and write files in another notebook which is not always
active.
