Public bug reported:
When printing multiple copies of a document ("Copies" set to > 1 in the
print dialog), if double-sided printing is enabled then one copy is
merged with the next, e.g. the first page of copy N is on the back side
of the paper containing the last page of copy N-1.
(The problem appears only if the document has an odd number of pages, of
course).

This is wrong behavior because no sane user would ever want that. The
problem effectively make the "Copies" option useless when printing
double-sided.
The correct behavior is (should be) to start each COPY on the front side
of a new sheet.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Run "evince" on a .pdf file
2. Control-P to show the print dialog
3. Set "Range" to "Current Page" (i.e. a single page will be printed per copy)
4. Set "Copies" to 2
5. Under Page Setup tab, select Two-sided printing
6. Click PRINT
RESULTS: A single piece of paper with the same content printed on both
sides
