Description:
XPS 13 9350 (2024) webcam is no longer detected after upgrading from kernel
6.17.0-12 to 6.17.0-14. Downgrading back to 6.17.0-12 restores full webcam
functionality. This is a clear regression.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot into kernel 6.17.0-14-generic
2. Open any application that uses the webcam (e.g., gnome-snapshot, Firefox
video call)
3. Webcam is not detected
Expected Behaviour:
Webcam should be detected and functional, as it is under kernel
6.17.0-12-generic.
Regression:
Last working kernel: 6.17.0-12-generic (6.17.0-12.12)
First broken kernel: 6.17.0-14-generic (6.17.0-14.14)
