Public bug reported:
Playing with a trivial backport of python-playwright under noble (I
don't have a resolute test machine yet) I got a
Error: Cannot find module '/usr/share/nodejs/playwright/cli.js'
while using it on a sample invocation; turns out that while the package
has a Build-depends on node-playwright, it doesn't have a Depends. (To
pre-answer questions about it possibly being a backporting issue: it
doesn't show up on
https://packages.ubuntu.com/resolute/python3-playwright either, so the
resolute version of the package is definitely missing it too.)
I'm guessing it doesn't show up in ${misc:Depends} simply because this
is built with buildsystem=pybuild, but it's straightforward to just add
the one package explicitly to the control file.
(Note that the trivial backport doesn't actually work because it runs
into https://github.com/microsoft/playwright-python/issues/2130 so you
might want to consider making that a versioned dependency, but please at
least start with having the dependency present at all.)
** Affects: python-playwright (Ubuntu)
