Public bug reported: Please remove r-revolution-revobase and revolution-mkl from resolute.
Despite the version numbering, the packages appear to have never been uploaded to Debian. It looks like the original source for the package was revolution-computing.com . That website has redirected to Microsoft since July 2016 and the project has been obsolete for many years. There is no upstream any more. I am subscribing Scott to this bug since he did the original uploads to Ubuntu, but he hasn't been active in Ubuntu development for many years. I noticed these packages while working through the packages that use cdbs. cdbs will be removed from Debian soon. https://transitions.ubuntu.com/html/cdbs-rm.html revolution-r is built by source package revolution-mkl. $ reverse-depends src:revolution-mkl Reverse-Depends =============== * r-revolution-revobase (for revolution-mkl) * r-revolution-revobase (for revolution-r) $ reverse-depends -b src:revolution-mkl Reverse-Build-Depends ===================== * r-revolution-revobase (for revolution-mkl) $ reverse-depends src:r-revolution-revobase Reverse-Depends =============== * revolution-r (for r-revolution-revobase) $ reverse-depends -b src:r-revolution-revobase No reverse dependencies found ** Affects: r-revolution-revobase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: revolution-mkl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cdbs resolute ** Also affects: revolution-mkl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2143641 Title: Please remove r-revolution-revobase & revolution-mkl from Ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/r-revolution-revobase/+bug/2143641/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
