Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
After waking up, or after coming out of suspend, gnome-panel hangs consuming ~100% of CPU. Menus and icons aren't drawn (other than in the Notification Area). I'm using standard Gutsy packages. Other info that may or may not be relevant: - I have Power Management Preferences set to blank the display after a period of inactivity. - I'm running compiz - I have the panels set to vertical orientation, and sized to 32 pixels so I can see icons in the Window List Some backtraces attached in replies ... ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-panel hangs/spins after screen blanking https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
