I'm sorry I haven't been able to try this patched network manager. I've been very busy at school.
Anyway, today I got it, and I'm still connecting to my home WPA wireless network automagically. I clicked on the "connect to other wifi networks" and it worked too. At the moment I can't verify that I can actually connect to other networks in that way, because I just use it at school to connect to the Campus Wifi. I might try it this afternoon. But I guess it is working good!
