Public bug reported:
Am using Linux mint after i have updated to the new kernel 6.17.0-19 and
restarted my laptop suddenly the login page freezes after i have entered
the password and i ahve waited like 5 minutes a pop up showed said the
login page crashed i closed the login page after i closed it the whole
desktop freezed. Then i downgraded to 6.17.0-14
