Public bug reported:

From <https://askubuntu.com/q/1564261/19561> :

f you use LaTeX to typeset and output a .dvi file, then try to open it
via open filename.dvi, it doesn't work -- there's no MIME association
for it. But I do have xdvi installed and it works -- I was expecting it
to have made open / xdg-open work.

You get "Failed to find default application for content type
‘application/x-dvi."

The following very simple .desktop file works:

```
[Desktop Entry]
Name=xdvi
Exec=xdvi %f
Type=Application
MimeType=application/x-dvi;
```

This package should include such a file and install it alongside `xdvi`.
