Noticed the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04 with sanoid 2.2.0-1. However, the package seems to include the default config in a different directory:
`dpkg -L sanoid` > ... > /usr/share/sanoid > /usr/share/sanoid/sanoid.defaults.conf Not sure if sanoid will be working as expected with default configs in `/usr/share/sanoid` instead `/etc/sanoid`. How could I confirm this? Should I place my custom config in `/usr/share/sanoid/sanoid.conf` as well? It also installs a debian package readme which still says: `cat /usr/share/doc/sanoid/README.Debian` > To start, copy the example config file in /usr/share/doc/sanoid/examples/ to > /etc/sanoid/sanoid.conf. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120988 Title: Package fails to create /etc/sanoid dir and create default conf files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sanoid/+bug/2120988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
