Thank you for reporting this boot failure issue with kernel
6.17.0-14.generic.

After investigation, I can confirm this is a known issue affecting
multiple users with the same kernel version. The problem appears to be
specific to kernel 6.17.0-14-generic, with various hardware-specific
symptoms (NVMe root mount failures, AMDGPU initialization errors)
reported across different systems.

I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of #2141203, which is the primary
tracker for kernel 6.17.0-14-generic boot failures. All related reports
are consolidated there for kernel team attention.

The workaround you've documented (manual GRUB boot with older kernel) is
already noted in the primary bug.
