Hello, KeePassXC maintainer here.
We've received a couple of complaints that the KeePassXC version
installed on users' systems was marked as an unstable build. It turned
out, the users had your PPA installed and the version you provide
(keepassxc=2.7.12+dfsg1-1xtradeb1.2404.1) is considered newer by
Debian's versioning logic than ours (keepassxc=2.7.12-1ppa1~noble1).
Please build your packages from the tar.xz archives provided on our
release page, not the tar.gz or zip archives that are auto-created by
GitHub. Building from the tar.xz will prevent the version warning from
showing up. Alternatively, you can explicitly set the
-DKEEPASSXC_BUILD_TYPE=Release CMake option.
Perhaps you could also adjust your versioning so that our PPA takes
precence over yours.
Thanks!
