Description: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
Release: 24.04
On upgrade of linux-image-generic-hwe-24.04 from linux-
image-6.17.0-14-generic to linux-image-6.17.0-19-generic there is a
regression in behaviour or nfs4 file systems.
Have observed various problems - mostly with writing large files to the
file system. Disabling file-system-cache (fsc option) may have helped to
an extent.
For users with home directory on nfs4 file system these have included odd
problems with web browser behaving erratically.
Generally: Problems copying non-trivial files onto the file system (files <1Mb?
are OK). Eg: scp a large file over; or compiling code where the linked binary
is several Mb fails reliably.
Currently attempting to provide a repeatable test case and better log
output...
** Affects: linux-hwe-6.17 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
