Public bug reported:

Hardware: Cepter CCLOUD15R7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5700U)
BIOS version: 24.02 (09/07/2023)
Kernel: 6.14.0-19-generic
Distro: Linux Mint 22.3
Problem:
On boot, the internal keyboard produces continuous uncontrolled key repeat for
any key pressed. A single keypress generates a flood of input events. The
keyboard works correctly in Windows.
dmesg shows:
atkbd serio0: Failed to deactivate keyboard on isa0060/serio0
atkbd serio0: Failed to enable keyboard on isa0060/serio0
atkbd serio0: Spurious ACK on isa0060/serio0. Some program might be trying to
access hardware directly.
(Spurious ACK repeats continuously throughout uptime)
Kernel parameters tried without success:
i8042.reset i8042.nomux i8042.nopnp i8042.noloop i8042.notimeout
i8042.kbdreset=1 atkbd.reset=1
Expected behavior: Single keypress produces single input event.
Actual behavior: Single keypress produces continuous flood of repeat events,
making keyboard unusable.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
