Problem:
Single-finger movement randomly stops or jumps.
While moving normally, the touchpad sometimes generates false extra contacts.
libinput logs show:
"kernel bug: Touch jump detected and discarded"
What I already checked:
- disabled tap-to-click
- disabled tap-and-drag
- disabled two-finger scrolling
- set click-method to fingers
- fwupd reports no firmware updates available for Touch Controller Sensor
Evidence:
- libinput record attached
- journal contains "Touch jump detected and discarded"
- raw input/logs show false BTN_TOOL_DOUBLETAP/TRIPLETAP and false pinch/scroll
