I had a look at your latest PPA and think the package looks decent. I just removed the ppa part of the changelog, letting this version "2026.1.1+ds-0ubuntu1" stay, with the reference in the entry. I noticed one (known) lintian false positive, in the versionmagnling detection in d/watch, that can easily be solved by removing the blank lines in d/watch - that is what I did on the fly. The src builds fine, as well as the bins/DEBs (with -proposed enabled), just two minor complains there about package-has-long-file-name. But I think it's ready to be sponsored and uploaded. ... I uploaded... ... And it landed in the NEW queue: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/resolute/+queue?queue_state=0&queue_text=slang-compiler
