For notes: The Unity package uses the `nux` OpenGL toolkit. This is a build- dependency on src:unity.
The aforementioned merge request which got my attention on policy for this is a dependent merge request for nux to fix the FTBFS that was caused by the migration away from pcre3 to pcre2. (unity's merge request, which depends on the aforementioned nux merge: https://code.launchpad.net/~unity7maintainers/ubuntu/+source/unity/+git/unity/+merge/501361) Indirectly, this also means src:unity violates policy with this dependency. This package can be demoted to `multiverse` if there is no fix before we do a final release freeze, but would still block Unity 26.04 release. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2147049 Title: [Policy Violations] nux ships non-free components that are not policy- compliant.
