Kernel 6.17 seems to have regressed as I cannot get my laptop to stay up longer than 4 days before a nfsd related cpu usage runaway occurs - see attached screenshot from ~26 days ago. I've been forced to use kernel 6.8 to avoid this issue.
Sometimes I can continue to interact with the system in this state though I can notice sluggish response but ultimately it eventually locks up and have to resort to REISUB to get back in. ** Attachment added: "cpu usage runaway" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091789/+attachment/5957704/+files/Selection_01354.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091789 Title: Soft Lock Ups in NFS Write in Linux Kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091789/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
