Subject: broadcom-sta-dkms fails to build on Kernel 6.17.0-20-generic

Hello,
I am experiencing a "Bad return status" error while trying to install
broadcom-sta-dkms (version 6.30.223.271) on Ubuntu 24.04 using the
6.17.0-20-generic kernel.
The build process fails with a fatal error regarding typedefs.h and
remains incompatible even after attempting manual patches for strlcpy
(replacing with strscpy). It seems the current driver source in the
repositories is not yet updated for the API changes introduced in the
6.17 kernel series.

Please update the broadcom-sta / bcmwl-kernel-source packages to support
