Public bug reported:

SRU Justification

[Impact]

* Microsoft requested patches to address potential data corruption
issues when network disconnects during extended writes.

[Fix]
* clean cherry-pick of upstream patches:
  * d78840a6a38d: "smb: client: fix in-place encryption corruption in
SMB2_write()"
  * e3beefd3af09: "cifs: make default value of retrans as zero"

[Test Plan]

* Compile tested
* Microsoft to test

[Regression potential]

* Patches limited to CIFs. Possible regressions result in unexpected
behavior of CIFs driver.

[Other info]

* SF#00432208
