Hi. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but when trying to install the transition package (from 590 to 595) on a Noble based system (Linux Mint 22.3), the new driver (595) is being pulled in with all the previous 590 stuff either being removed or upgraded. This is fine, however currently, there are no i386 binaries for 595 driver available yet for Noble based systems, so I suspect installing 595 driver (as it stands now) will lead to a broken Steam set up (as it still needs these i386 libraries).
Are i386 595 packages yet to be created for Noble series, or is the transition package meant to somehow bring them in anyways (i.e., they are packaged alongside with the normal 64 bit binaries, effectively eliminating the need for explict i386 installation)? (Looking at other Unbutu series, it appears that there are explict i386 builds of the driver, so not sure why Noble side only has 64 bit stuff.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2146602 Title: Transition the 590 graphics driver packages to 595 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fabric-manager-590/+bug/2146602/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
