Do you really mean "kernel"? You have kernel version 6.8.0-45.45-generic
here, which is old even by update standards. If you were installing the
latest updates then it should be version 6.8.0-107.107
If you would like to install an even newer kernel supported by Ubuntu
24.04 then you can:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-24.04
and reboot.
