One quick note: you mentioned concern about Ubuntu potentially missing
the pixel-shifting anti-burning feature that Asus provides on Windows.
That's a separate (and valid) concern from the brightness-control fix we
just confirmed. If you'd like, feel free to file a new bug specifically
about OLED pixel shifting support — that would be best tracked as its
own issue rather than folded into this resolved report.
