Try this:
echo "options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1" | sudo tee -a
/etc/modprobe.d/soundfix.conf
sudo update-initramfs -u -k all
Reboot. If it doesn't work, you can easily undo it:
sudo rm -a /etc/modprobe.d/soundfix.conf
sudo update-initramfs -u -k all
