The LXD .deb package tried to trigger the migration to the LXD snap.
This apparently failed, possibly due to a problem with the snapstore:

[?1049l==> Installing the LXD snap from the 4.0 track for ubuntu-20.04
error: cannot install "lxd": Post "https://api.snapcraft.io/v2/snaps/refresh":
context canceled

You should be able to do the migration manually with:

* `sudo snap install lxd --channel 4.0/stable`
* `sudo lxd.migrate`

** Changed in: lxd (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
