I'm reviving this threads after some time passed.

I think we now got rid of most of the blockers for this SRU:
* wpa 2.11 is not newly released anymore, since time have passed, and we did 
not see any customer complaint.
* The broadcom issue that was mentioned before [0] was fixed with the kernel 
6.10

I've created 2 new MRs:
- a backport of the latest patch to questing
- a backport of the future-new questing version to noble (entirely).
I also have uploads in this ppa:

I could have simply backported questing's version, but resolute's
changelog felt like the latest patch would be necessary. -ubuntu4
(questing) added a patch that -ubuntu5 (resolute) removed in favor of
the proper solution from upstream.

I' asking the SRU team if this SRU could be re-evaluated to enable Wifi
7 on noble.
