Does look like an ALSA-level issue in the bad state: Headphone playback is on (100%) Speaker playback is 0% and off Front Headphone Jack reports true
Which matches pw-dump (bad boot = analog-output-headphones route) Could you test the following on a bad boot and let me know whether sound is restored (and paste the command output), amixer -c0 sset Speaker 87 unmute amixer -c0 sset Headphone mute pactl set-sink-port alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.analog-stereo analog-output-speaker If that restores sound reliably, I think this will need a kernel/ALSA quirk. Also, please collect logs after suspend/resume (working state), journalctl -k -b > kernel-after-resume.txt journalctl -b > journal-after-resume.txt And, alsa-info.sh --no-upload > AlsaInfo-after-resume.txt And attach here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154684 Title: Kubuntu 26.04 "Resolute Raccoon" Audio Issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/2154684/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
