Now 26.04 could be upgraded from 25.10. So I added the resolute repo in
/etc/apt/sources, after that I installed the linux-generic-hwe-26.04
from resolute-proposed. Then the audio works beautifully. So the alsa-
ucm-conf in questing works. I set the verification to done so that we
wont' block the next release.

$ do-release-upgrade -c
Checking for a new Ubuntu release
New release '26.04 LTS' available.
Run 'do-release-upgrade' to upgrade to it.

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources
